Jay Piper, President

Mr. Piper joined Capital Pacific in 2006 as President of the Southern Colorado Division.  In January 2007, he was also appointed President of the Northern Colorado Division.  Prior to his association with Capital Pacific, Mr. Piper served as Division President at Richmond Homes and as Regional Vice President of Ryland Homes.  Mr. Piper has also served as Corporate Controller for MDC Holdings and as Division CFO for Richmond Homes.  Mr. Piper, who has over twenty years of related experience, began his career as a Certified Public Accountant after graduating from Adams State College in Colorado.  During his tenure as a CPA, Mr. Piper specialized in real estate and litigation support services.

 

Scott Oldham, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Oldham joined Capital Pacific in March 2005 as Chief Financial Officer.  He came to Capital Pacific after ten years of service with a national homebuilder, where he held various positions in the purchasing, accounting departments, including Purchasing Agent, Controller and Senior Controller.  Mr. Oldham is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a BS in mathematics and a graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver with a BA in accounting.

 

Kurt Ditus, Vice President of Forward Planning and Purchasing

Mr. Ditus joined Capital Pacific in May 2000 and has over twenty years of construction management experience including single-family, multi-family and land development projects.  His employers have included several publicly traded national builders.  Mr. Ditus’s education and certification include an Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, IBCO Certification, Energy Star Certification and contractor licenses held in eleven Colorado Front Range jurisdictions.

 

Jerry Weinfurtner, Vice President of Construction

Mr. Weinfurtner joined Capital Pacific in 2006 as Vice President of Construction.  Mr. Weinfurtner came to Capital Pacific with over fifteen years of construction management experience with a national homebuilder in the Denver market.  During this time, he held several positions, including Vice President of Construction, Vice President/Project Manager, Director of Construction, and Construction Manager.
